August waves do not disappoint 2012

From the very first day of August we islanders have been the lucky recipients of the oceans bounty.
Mostly in the form of wind swells, we reaped the harvest of the ocean in the form of short period wind swell waves. It was one of those summers where the wind hardly blew, and with the hot hummid tempuratues we had all month, the ocean provided more than waves... relief from the heat.
As the month progressed we got some tropical storm swell from Hurricane Gordon mid month, and a bit more from Issac and Kirk at the end of the month.
Cisco, the Sham and nobs where the places that the swell turned into to rideable waves, with Cisco sand bars being some of the more consistant spots on the island.
